OIKOS

We started as a small, provincial, entrepreneurial reality, today our name is associated with the most prestigious architectural projects both in Italy and around the world.
Our production processes, in our headquarters in Gatteo Mare are organised with total respect for the environment in a highly automated manufacturing facility with limited environmental impact: all waste and refuse is treated by means of depuration systems and dust reduction units.
The packing of products into buckets has never been interpreted by Oikos as the end of our job, but the end is seen as being when the products, matter, colour and the various finishes are applied on the walls, on the surfaces or an objects. When we have transformed our surfaces into something different and beautiful than their original state.

It is for this reason we talk about "matter" and about "colour" and we want to express how our complete decoration has an impact that is unrepeatable because we produce materials and finishes that have an incredible ability to play with light.
We are not satisfied with just "not polluting", we want to contribute to the conservation of our natural heritage by means of a careful policy of "re-use"

"re-use" means to put residual materials from our production back into the manufacturing cycle after a careful process of depuration thanks to the technology we use.
The Oikos company philosophy unites with the great Italian decorative tradition with a strong vocation for research and innovation.

The result is the continual creation of products that interpret, the thoughts, aspirations and creative choices of architects and designers.

The strength of OIKOS is also in its ability to adopt an entire line of industrial production to the inspirations and needs of the designers to the extent of creating products specifically and exclusively for them.
